Your looking at my 1960 700 , 80 HP, 3 speed Corvair Coupe with 136K .
I purchased it in 2007 from CA with the intension of a complete restore but over the years other projects have come up and I need to make room.
Since purchasing it's gotten rebuilt carbs, 8mm wires, NGK plugs, brass cap, rotor, electronics ignition, air filter, in line fuel filters, blower bearing greased, heads rebuilt (prior to purchase) new shocks, Michelin radials, pitman arm bushing, alignment, Halogens head lights
This past winter I replaced the throw out bearing, throw out bearing shaft, new seals in diff., pilot bushing, flywheel re-surfaced and balanced, pressure plate re-surfaced and balanced, new clutch disc, new complete exhaust, trans drained checked and resealed. I also up graded the electrical system to an alternator with a new rear harness. Pictures will show generator.
The car runs, drive, stops and handles very well however there is a slight whine in 1St and 2ND gear from the trans which I've learned is common in the aluminum 3sp but once in 3rd nice.
The interior is original with the exception of the new black carpet and rear package area and is presentable.
In all the car is a great daily driver for local runs or the long haul. Forgot to mention the gas heater still works well as does the AM radio.
Please feel free to ask questions before bidding. Thanks and good luck
