Overall this is an excellent car.  I have made many long distance trips with it (4 hours one way) and it performs beautifully with no problems AT ALL!  I never need to add oil because it doesn’t burn or leak.  I do change the oil and filter when I see it starting to discolor which is probably every 2500 to 3000 miles.

You’re previewing a 1964 Chevy Corvair Monza Coupe.  The car has 74,000 original miles with 90% of the mechanicals rebuilt. The other 10% is original and in good working order.

I’ll start with the front of the car and work my way back.  It has four new Michelin tires front and back.  The lower ball joints were replaced along with inner and outer tie rod ends less than a year ago.  The stabilizer bushings were also replaced at the same times.
The inner and outer front wheels bearings were replaced along with the seals about six months ago as well as the shocks (front and back).  The box is tight with no slack.

The interior is in excellent condition.  There are no tears, stains or signs of splitting anywhere.  The carpet is fairly new   with no stains or holes.  Door panels are in good shape but are starting to show signs of bowing below the armrest.  The dash and headliner are perfect as is all glass, which is tinted.  Everything works in the dash even the lighter.  The original AM radio plays too.
The transmission, differential and engine are in top condition.  The automatic transmission has been flushed with a new filter and gasket.  The differential was drained and new axels seals were installed with new gear fluid (no whining from it) the rear wheel bearings have also been replaced.  The engine is a 110 HP with the heads rebuilt along with the distributor and carbs.  Wires, cap and rotor are new and an electronic ignition was installed.  The generator has been rebuilt and the regulator replaced.  A new harmonic balancer along with the rear seals have also been replaced.  All work described has been done with the past two years.

The exterior of the car is in excellent condition with some signs of “bubble” rust showing hear and there but is otherwise very presentable.  The paint finish is no dull and still holds a nice shine when washed.
